This MFe Chimney Cowl (picture above left) is, in my professional opinion, the best all round cowl for a majority of houses and best value for money. It is made from aluminum and designed for gas, oil and solid fuel fired appliances. 

The British Standard quoted is the specification for metal flue pipes, fittings, terminals and accessories for gas-fired appliances with a rated input not exceeding 60 kW. Should I not have the Mfe Chimney Cowl in stock I will put on the Mesh Bonnet Cowl (pictured above right), these both cost the same to supply & fit.

It is secured in place with a large jubilee clip to stop it being knocked off when I come round to sweep the chimney every year. The cheaper wire balloons and conical mesh guards (detailed below) can sometimes pop off during sweeping and would incur an additional cost to refit after sweeping.. 

Normally you can expect to pay £130+ for the supply & fitting of this cowl. But, as long as you are within my Swindon, Wiltshire region,  I can do this for a knock down price to suit everyone's budget. 

**The only stipulations I do ask, to be eligible for these low prices, is that you will have an existing standard sized, round chimney pot in place for this cowl to be fitted to. Also, I will need reasonable front or rear access to the chimney stack with easy reach pots only (within arms reach). And no houses over the normal 2 storeys. This is because I work alone and like keep to safe practices. Be sure to check your stacks before booking.**
