COWLS & BIRDGUARDS
The main reason you may require a cowl or bird guard fitting is to keep the birds from nesting or falling down and getting stuck in the flue. This will block up your flue, which can either cause a chimney fire or force dangerous carbon monoxide gasses to enter your house.
You may also require one to reduce downdraft on an exposed or short chimney stack.
Or you might need one to cap off a disused flue. This option would stop any pests or rain from entering the flue, yet still keep it ventilated.
Below are the options I supply and fit.
The only stipulations I do ask, to be eligible for these low prices, is that you have an existing standard sized, round chimney pot in place, for these cowls to be fitted to. Also, I will need reasonable front or rear access to the chimney stack with easy reach pots only (within arms reach). And no houses over the normal 2 storeys. This is because I work alone and like keep to safe practices. Be sure to check your stacks before booking.

BREWER BIRDGUARD - SOLID FUEL
Designed to prevent once and for all the ingress of birds, small mammals and leaves into used or unused chimney flues.
This is the slightly cheaper version of the UFO Cowl below, but without the downdraft properties.
It does however still limit rainfall with its cap. To fit standard pots of 125-250mm

UFO ANTI-DOWNDRAFT
Designed to prevent once and for all the ingress of birds, and assist in the reduction of downdraft in chimney flues. This does NOT cure downdraught 100%.

Due to a wide variation in chimney pots or flue exits, I am also able to supply & fit a wide variety of solutions to meet your specific requirements.

As I am limited on storage space, I am only able to keep a small quantity of the cowls previously advertised.
Therefore, all bespoke cowls will have to be individually ordered in specially and may take a little while to get them.
